Van Hoa Plateau with the basaltic red terrain was generated by volcanic eruptions at an average altitude of 400m above sea level, resulting in cool temperatures all year. Locals have developed farms for fruit trees, vegetables, industrial enterprises, and tourist resorts, making use of ideal natural circumstances and historical treasures.

The House of President Ho Chi Minh was erected in 1969 on the site where Phu Yen people held memorial ceremonies when he died. The house has been refurbished since it was designated a national historic property in 2008. Tourists frequently come here to offer incense in memory of the late president and to learn about the resistance activities in Phu Yen during the Vietnam War.

Vineyards of Red Burmese Grapes, the red Burmese grape gardens are a popular tourist attraction in Van Hoa Plateau, in addition to the good weather.
