Best Beaches In Vietnam:

In Vietnam, there are countless undiscovered beaches, palm-fringed islands, and emerald-colored waterways just waiting to be explored. To say that we're spoilt for choice would be an understatement.

The simple work of compiling a list of Vietnam's top beaches and figuring out how to travel to each of them is enough to make anyone anxious and want to book a flight to Vietnam immediately, without considering what else there is to uncover.

However, since planning a trip can be daunting when presented with too many options, we're here to help you narrow down your options. Now that the ultimate list of Vietnam's top beaches, their ideal times of year for visiting, and what they offer after you arrive have been compiled, it is time to breathe a sigh of relief.

Best Beaches In Northern Vietnam:

1/ Ha Long Bay:

Ha Long Bay, a world-famous natural wonder, must be included on any list of must-see attractions in Vietnam. As the name implies, Ha Long Bay is home to thousands of limestone islands and islets covered with rainforest, as well as white coral beaches, wave-eroded grottoes, and breathtaking views that just cannot be matched.

No matter if you are going alone, with your family, with friends, or with your partner, this 1,600 square kilometer (618 square miles) natural wonder offers a wide selection of activities for everyone in every age group.

2/ Cat Ba Island:

In addition to its craggy limestone pinnacles, lush green jungles, and sandy beaches, Cat Ba Island is home to 32 different varieties of mammals including the white-headed langur, the world's most endangered monkey. A national park, much of the island is easily accessible from Hanoi, Ninh Binh, and Sapa.

You can also visit one of the three popular beaches on the south side of the island, Cat Ba Beach 1, 2, and 3. On your trip here, be sure to stop in Butterfly Valley and the ports along the road to have some freshly caught fish and shrimp salads.

Best Beaches In Central Vietnam:

1/ Da Nang:

Da Nang, located on the East Sea coast, is one of Vietnam's most important ports. From Hanoi or Hue, travelers come to this area in search of adventure and pleasure. Da Nang is a terrific location for travelers of all ages, but backpackers, digital nomads, and young entrepreneurs are becoming increasingly popular as the city develops into a startup hub.

Marble Mountains is a popular pilgrimage location comprised of limestone and marble, featuring caverns, monasteries, and bullet holes from when Vietnamese troops used to spy on American soldiers during the war.

Visit an 800-year-old banyan tree and Monkey Peak on a bicycle or scooter.

Located on a mountaintop, Ba Na Hills is reminiscent of a medieval castle and is home to top-of-the-line restaurants, lodging, and an amusement park.

Non Nuoc Beach, with its white sand and stunning views, is the perfect place to catch some waves.

2/ Quy Nhon:

Quiet and distant from tourist places, Quy Nhon is the perfect place to relax. Particularly Xep Beach (also known as Bai Xep) or Queen's Beach, which has stunning vistas. Take a bus for an hour from Phu Cat to Quy Nhon, take a train from Hanoi, or take a sleeper bus from Ho Chi Minh City, if you don't mind the (very) long travel time there and back.

Quy Nhon's romantic environment makes it ideal for young and mature couples, as well as lone tourists. As soon as you get here, be sure to try the native soups, spicy and crispy seafood, pig's ears, and bouncing shrimp pancakes. A visit to Quy Hoa Beach is also highly recommended, where you can see the descendants of the city's ancient leper colony and the hospital that serves them.

3/ Nha Trang:

After leaving Quy Nhon, continue south to Nha Trang, a seaside resort city regarded as the East Sea's Riviera and as one of Vietnam's most energetic attractions. Via the Vinpearl Cable Car, you may access an amusement park and a water park. The country's most spectacularly magnificent beaches are located within a 5-mile radius.

It is also known for its snorkeling & diving sites. Nha Trang is a beachfront city with enticing beaches and a thriving seaside community.

4/ Mui Ne:

The next stop is Mui Ne, which has several resorts built along the shore with some of the lowest prices in the entire country. Enjoy kitesurfing and the beach.
This area is known for its pink sand dune and white sand dune, as well as fairy stream and fishing village.

Best Beaches In Southern Vietnam:

1/ Phu Quoc:

You will come to Phu Quoc because of the luxury resorts that line the lengthy stretches of secluded sandy beaches that are surrounded by lush nature. The local conservation park and vibrant night markets will keep you there.

Long Beach and Star Beach are two beaches that you must see (Sao Beach). Given the abundance of jet skis and martinis in the vicinity, Long is more developed and has a more lively atmosphere. As opposed to Sao, which has a considerably more low-key vibe, With its white, powdery sand and plankton that glows at night, Sao is less developed but more attractive.

2/ Con Dao:

There are beach campsites, lighthouses, and marine turtles, to name a few! Con Dao is a honeymooner's paradise, and Con Son, the major island, is just 45 minutes away from Ho Chi Minh City via plane. This hidden tropical paradise is the perfect place to start your day with a swim in the pristine water. Dam Trau Beach is without a doubt one of the most beautiful possibilities available to you. Cocktail in hand, walk along the beautiful sandy beach to the beachfront promenade to dry off.

Consider having pho noodles or a rice meal on the north side of Nguyen Hue Boulevard to round out your day. After watching the sunset at An Hai Beach, retire early to bed so you can do it all over the next day.
