How to go to Lak Lake Daklak?
Lak Lake is readily accessible from downtown Buon Ma Thuot City by traveling south on National Road 27. Google Maps and other navigation apps will direct you to this beautiful lake. Alternatively, take bus 12 from Buon Ma Thuot to the Lak District Post Office. Then, after a brief 1.5-kilometer motorbike taxi trip, you will reach Lak Lake.
Lak Lake has two different seasons: wet (May–October) and dry (November–April). The best time to visit Lak Lake is from September to December when the lake is full of water. During May, the lake is decorated with flowering white lotus flowers, creating a magnificent scene. In early September, which is also harvest season, rice fields may be seen along the route from Buon Ma Thuot City to Lak Lake.
