Begin the journey by visiting the Ho Chi Minh complex, which includes the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his residence on stilts, and the One-Pillar Pagoda, and then go to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university and a Confucian shrine.

Tour the Old Quarter to get a taste of Hanoi's fascinating native everyday life. Stop at Hoan Kiem Lake and the Ngoc Son Temple. The tour concludes with a cup of coffee or tea at an authentic Hanoi corner café where you may converse with locals and discuss cultural practices.
