The national fine arts stone sculpture program, the Khanh Hoa hot-air balloon festival, the international scientific conference on conserving and promoting Khanh Hoa's cultural heritage in conjunction with green growth and sustainable development, the international culinary festival, the Sea Festival 2025 book road, the Khanh Hoa salanganes nest festival, the Nha Trang SUP championship, and other events are happening prior to the start of the sea festival.
The Khanh Hoa province's People's Committee declared on March 17 that the Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2025 program had been authorized. The 2025 Sea Festival, according to the Khanh Hoa province's Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, is a program that combines artistic, cultural, and festival activities that represent both traditional and modern cultures, protecting and advancing the nation's cultural values in general and the land of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa in particular.

There will be over 40 events and groups of events at the Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2025, including five standout ones: the Opening Ceremony with the theme "Jade of the East Sea" along with the grand music scene of the Cau Ngu Festival, art program, and high-altitude fireworks display (held on the evening of June 7 at Nha Trang 2 Square, April); the "Sea Street Entering Festival" program; sea sports and recreation activities, as well as paragliding performances; the art program "Come Here with the sea"; and the Closing Ceremony with the theme "Sea, islands of love."
Numerous distinctive cultural and athletic activities are also featured at this year's Sea Festival, including the Cau Ngu Festival, the Bird's Nest Festival, the Music Festival, the Hot Air Balloon Festival, the International Culinary Culture Art Festival, the Sea Sports Tournaments, and programs for painting exhibitions, photography, and dance group festivals.
Before and after the Nha Trang Sea Festival 2025, Khanh Hoa province also organized many other activities and events such as art performances; traditional cultural festivals; exhibitions, compositions; sea sports; tourism seminars, culinary and trade fairs. In response, several cultural, artistic, and athletic events were held in various locations around the province. There will be an international beach soccer tournament in Nha Trang City from May 20 to June 27. On May 26, 27, and 28, there will be a street lion-lion-dragon festival. On June 1, there will be a martial arts festival. On June 3, there will be an Ao Dai festival featuring a procession.
An international cultural, artistic, and culinary festival, a book street festival, a Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Festival, an agarwood festival, a fishing festival, an art and photography exhibition, a sports dance performance, and more will take place at several parks and beaches in Nha Trang from June 4–10. Every two years, the province of Khanh Hoa hosts the Nha Trang Sea Festival. 2025 is the 11th year of this program. The 10th Nha Trang Sea Festival, which will be held from June 3–6, 2023, will assist Khanh Hoa in welcoming over 600,000 tourists and generate close to 550 billion VND.

The Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2025 will be held in Nha Trang City (2-4 Square, Thanh Nien Football Field, and the park along the coast of Tran Phu Street), as well as throughout the province's districts, towns, and cities.

As part of a series of events to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of Khanh Hoa Province on April 2 (1975–2025) and the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30 (1975–2025), this event also serves as a welcome to the Party Congresses at all levels leading up to the 19th Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress.

More than 600,000 tourists, both local and foreign, are anticipated to attend.
Since 2003, the biannual Nha Trang-Khanh Hoa Sea Festival has established itself as a city hallmark. It is the most significant social and cultural event in the area, drawing vacationers and fostering the growth of the tourist industry.
Over 9.5 visitors were served by Khanh Hoa by the end of October 2024. It is anticipated that 10–10.5 million people will visit the area this year.
