After lunch. Head to Hue city on highway 1A which takes 2,5 hours by car.

14:30: Arrived at Hue. Continue to visit 2 Mausoleum of Tu Duc King and Minh Mang King.

Tu Duc had prepared his tomb for several years before his death in 1883. The tomb complex's main components were built between 1864 and 1867, along with future temple complexes that served as a luxurious hideaway for Tu Duc and his numerous wives throughout his lifetime. The tomb's construction necessitated so much corvee labor and additional income that a failed coup against Tu Duc happened in 1866. This was repressed, and Tu Duc lived in the tomb's regal buildings for the remainder of his life.

The Minh Mang Mausoleum consists of 40 buildings arranged vertically along a 700m-long symmetric axis (Than dao) that runs from the Dai Hong gate to the wall behind the tomb. Thien Dinh Palace is the main edifice of Khai Dinh's Mausoleum.
