Landmark 81 Vietnam is a skyscraper in Ho Chi Minh City. It is now Vietnam's tallest structural work, Southeast Asia's second-tallest skyscraper, and the world's 17th tallest building. This mixed-use structure has offices, luxury residences, a 5-star hotel, and a multi-story observation deck. Climbing the Landmark 81 Vietnam is unquestionably a must-do adventure in Saigon.

The Landmark 81 Vietnam skyscraper has 81 floor space of 241,000 square meters. According to the designer, the tower's shape is inspired by the traditional bamboo bundle, which signifies power and togetherness in Vietnamese culture.

Furthermore, this is Vietnam's most opulent skyscraper, created by world-renowned architects and experts. It was Atkins, a company known for designing world-class buildings such as the Bahrain World Trade Center, King Abdulaziz International Airport (Saudi Arabia), and the Lotus Hotel (Shanghai, China).

It is also known as Vietnam's largest green building. The façade of the tower is entirely composed of Low-E glass, a type of glass that offers the building functions such as light transmission, temperature regulation, and radiation protection to ensure that the inside receives adequate light while also providing a magnificent space and maintaining a stable temperature.

Landmark 81 Saigon History: 

The tower's groundbreaking opening ceremony took place on December 13, 2014. In October 2017, work reached level 69, and at a height of 270 meters (890 feet), it surpassed the Bitexco Financial Tower to become Ho Chi Minh City's highest skyscraper. By January 2018, all levels had been completed, with only the spire and crown still unfinished. The last part of the crown spire was installed on April 10, 2018, completing Landmark 81.

The base of the building, which has 6 floors and a total area of 50,000 m2 (540,000 sq ft), was inaugurated on July 27, 2018, to commemorate the 25th anniversary of its owner's parent company, Vingroup.

Skyview, the observation deck, opens on April 28, 2019. The deck is now Vietnam's tallest observation deck, ranging from floor 79 at 369.65 m (1,212.8 ft) to floor 81 at 382.65 m (1,255.4 ft). Children's tickets cost 405,000 VND (17.4 USD) while adults' tickets cost 810,000 VND (US$34.8).

The Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection hotel spans the skyscraper's 47th to 71st floors, with 223 rooms that offer creative flourishes and intriguing décor. Each apartment has floor-to-ceiling windows that provide panoramic views of the city's main canal.

The hotel, which rises 461 meters, provides guests with eating options, an outdoor swimming pool, a club lounge overlooking the Saigon River, and a vibrant downtown. The Vinpearl Landmark 81, Autograph Collection features a 1,200 sqm event area with a fixed LED screen that can seat up to 1,500 people. Meanwhile, the 69th-floor Sky Studios caters to the demands of select executives.

Oriental Pearl features buffets and a la carte menus, with diners able to choose from a variety of seasonal, regional, foreign, and local delicacies. During the day, the Cloud lobby lounge provides coffee and refreshments, and at night, it transforms into an organic-wine bar.
