- To He Craft (Animal Cake):
Tò he (or "Thuong Bot") is a traditional Vietnamese children's toy that may be swallowed. Making "Tò he" is a traditional practice in Vietnamese rural villages, particularly in the north. Originally, "tò he" was a product made of flour used for offerings, usually having the shape of animals such as peacocks, chickens, buffaloes, cows, pigs, fish, etc., therefore people called it "bird and stork toys".

- Coconut leaf weaves (Vietnam Origami):
The water coconut leaves used to make toys must be old enough to keep their elasticity and vibrant yellow color. If you pick leaves that are too young, they will be difficult to shape because they are too soft; nevertheless, leaves that are too old will be exceedingly hard and easily damaged. With a few folds, twists, and pins, you can transform water coconut leaves into adorable and gorgeous creatures. The eyes, fins, and tails of the fish, crabs, peacocks, and pigeons will appear alive and attractive with a few dotted shadows with watercolor pens or a few skillful cuts with scissors.

Vietnamese calligraphy became popularized in two ways: The first way is driven by nostalgia for a time when Chinese and Nom characters were common. Artists painted Vietnamese characters (in Latin letters) in the shape of round or square Chinese characters, known as "reverse" writing, which can only be viewed clearly from the back of the page. The second direction indicated the shape of Vietnamese letters in the Western writing system known as the Latin alphabet.
