DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL - NOI BAI AIRPORT:

DAY 2: HANOI CITY HIGHLIGHTS: (Breakfast, Lunch)

When planning your trip to Vietnam, please do not overlook Hanoi, which is without a doubt a stunning destination on your Vietnam Tours. Today we take a full-day tour of Hanoi, visiting the mausoleum of the nation's founder Ho Chi Minh (closed on Mondays and Fridays), the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh's stilt house, the One Pillar Pagoda, the Temple of Literature, the impressive Ethnologic Museum, the beautiful West Lake, the Tran Vu Pagoda, and the peaceful lake of the Restored Sword.

Late afternoon, we take a pedicab tour around the lively old quarter streets, which are named for the unique commodities that used to be sold there. In the evening, we conclude our Hanoi city trip with a spectacular traditional water puppet display.

DAY 3: HALONG BAY CRUISE  FROM HANOI: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

06:30 – 07:00: Start your day with swimming, relax, or take photograph.

07:00 – 11:00: Have breakfast at sunrise. Visit Ti Top Island, cruise to Ba Hang Fishing Village, pass Dog Rock and Incense Burner, and then head back to the Harbor.

Have lunch around 11:00

12:00 – 16:30: Transfer back to Hanoi, and transfer back to Hanoi airport for afternoon flight with Vietnam Airlines to Hue. Pick up and transfer to your hotel, evening free at leisure in Hue.

DAY 5: HUE CITY HIGHLIGHTS: (Breakfast, Lunch)

08:00 Pick up from your accommodation and spend the day seeing Hue, including visits to Emperor Khai Dinh's mausoleum, VO KINH VAN AN - Vietnam Traditional cungfu performances, and Emperor Tu Duc's tomb. Stop along the route to discover how conical hats and incense sticks are created. Lunch at a nearby eatery.

In the afternoon, tour the Imperial Capital of the Nguyen Dynasty, An Hien Garden House, and the seven-story Thien Mu Pagoda on the riverfront. Return by boat along the beautiful Perfume River.

DAY 6: HUE - DA NANG - GOLDEN HAND BRIDGE: (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

After breakfast, we drive to Da Nang. Sun World's Ba Na Hills resort is located in Da Nang, a coastal city with over a million residents known for its sand beaches, French colonial history, and closeness to the ancient city of Hoi An. It is approximately 1,500 meters above sea level (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). The Ba Na Hills provide another reason to visit Da Nang, one of Vietnam's most appealing coastal cities.

DAY 7: DA NANG - MY SON - HOI AN: (Breakfast, Lunch)

07:50 - 08:10 Pick up at the hotel. Transfer to My Son's Holy Land

09:15: Arrive in My Son Sanctuary. Take a walking trip to see the famed Champa royal worship towers and temples. Enjoy Champa's musical performance.

12:30: Have lunch with local cuisine.

15:00: Return to the hotel. Free of leisure.

DAY 8: HOI AN - MANG DEN KON TUM: (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, drive to Mang Den Kon Tum. Mang Den has blossoming flowers all year. Visitors in February will see a display of mimosa and bauhinia blooms, while purple phoenix flowers will bloom in the Summer season. Beyond that, the myrtle blossoms take the main stage.

The Central Highlands consist of five provinces: Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, and Lam Dong. The region is located on a succession of plateaus and shares borders with Laos and Cambodia. For a long time, the land remained relatively unaltered, inhabited mostly by the Degar, who were dubbed Montagnards by the French. The group is made up of many ethnic minority communities, the largest of which are the Jarai, Rade, Bahnar, Koho, and Mnong.

DAY 9: KON TUM - PLEIKU: (Breakfast, Lunch) 

After breakfast, we drive to Pleiku. Pleiku saw significant instability in the early 2000s, when anti-government protests were held in the city, resulting in restrictions on tourist travel in the area. Due to these restrictions, several locations still require a permit or a tour guide. Although it may need some planning, a trip through the untouched countryside and old villages is definitely worth it. Few places in Vietnam are as clean and wild as the scenery of this region. There is plenty of rural beauty and preserved culture just outside of the main town to discover. The region's geology has produced a number of breathtaking natural wonders.

DAY 10: PLEIKU - BUON ME THUOT: (Breakfast, Lunch)

Breakfast in the hotel. Continue to Buon Me Thuot. The Ethnographic Museum in Buon Ma Thuot is an ideal starting place for visiting Vietnam's Central Highlands and its many cultures. The museum offers great displays and descriptions of some of the cultural activities and celebrations that take place in ethnic minority communities. The content can be especially useful because the inherent language barrier sometimes prevents in-depth explanations in the communities themselves. The many funeral traditions, such as tomb abandonment ceremonies, are very intriguing.

A gong dance performance can also be organized in these areas. The gong is a religious instrument thought to be associated with the gods; the older the gong, the greater the relationship. The value of the gong is widely held across the central highlands, and the ceremonies surrounding it have been designated by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of Oral or Intangible Heritage of Humanity.

DAY 11: BUON ME THUOT - DA LAT: (Breakfast, Lunch) 

After breakfast, head to Da Lat City. There are no restrictions on visiting the perennially popular Da Lat. The picturesque capital of Lam Dong province, located 1,500 meters above sea level on the Lang Biang plateau, has acquired the epithet "city of eternal spring". Da Lat originated as a popular vacation spot for French colonialists drawn to the city's high altitude and temperate climate; now, it is Vietnam's wedding and honeymoon capital. Remnants of bourgeois French colonial architecture may still be found today, and a wonderful excursion will lead you to waterfalls and farther into the countryside.

The Montagnards, a term used by French colonists to mean "mountain people," are the Central Highlands' indigenous ethnic divisions. Tensions between the Montagnards and the government predate the war. Already on precarious footing, the Vietnam War erupted, trapping the Montagnards between the North and the South before they were recruited by American Special Forces. They were popularly known as the Yards and were admired for their fighting prowess, bravery, and dedication. When the United States withdrew combat forces in 1972 and 1973, their situation deteriorated, with the bulk of their villages destroyed or taken, causing them to flee.

DAY 12: DA LAT - HO CHI MINH CITY HIGHLIGHTS: (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast. Head to Ho Chi Minh City. 

Afternoon: We visit Reunification Hall, which was the home of former South Vietnamese President Ngo Dinh Diem from the 1960s until April 1975. You will see numerous unique stuff, such as formal meeting rooms, private bedrooms, and combat scenario chambers 10 meters below earth. This facility still performs various important functions in HCMC.

The General Post Office was designed by Gustav Eiffel and symbolizes France's presence in the late 1800s. This massive structure has the look and feel of a good train station.

DAY 13: CU CHI TUNNELS - HO CHI MINH CITY: (Breakfast, Lunch)

After breakfast, will travel to Cu Chi. During the Vietnam War, the system was expanded into an assembly complex, allowing Communist guerrilla forces to launch surprise attacks before blending into the terrain, provide cover for soldiers, transmit messages and supplies, obtain medical assistance, and seek shelter from aircraft bombardment. Vietnamese forces beat American troops in South Vietnam, due in major part to the Cu Chi Tunnels, which also served as a military base. It provided an isolated base of operations from which to organize and carry out effective military actions, the most notable of which was the 1968 Tet Offensive.

When in Vietnam, you must visit this location. This is where guerrilla warfare is optimized and shown. You'll discover how the tunnels were cleverly designed and how to employ trap doors strategically. You'll be able to crawl around a segment of the 121-kilometer-long, multi-layered tunnel. You'll discover how thousands of guerillas were able to stay underground for days at a stretch, as well as their excellent technique for concealing smoke from their cooking.
