Vietnamese On September 3, 2021, Vietnamese authorities verified 501,649 COVID-19 illnesses. New cases are 14,922. Besides that, 9,275 cases were detected in the community. People in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, and Tien Giang have reported the most recent cases of community transmission, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

715,672 persons have been tested in the last 24 hours by the health sector. From April 27 until today, 16,063,195 samples have been collected from 37,033,557 persons.
The Treatment Sub-Committee of the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control revealed 308 more fatalities on September 3. It were from in HCMC (250), Binh Duong (44), Dong Thap (5), Hanoi (2) and Dak Lak (two), Khanh Hoa (1).
The total number of deaths from Covid-19 in Vietnam as of September 3 is 12,446 cases. This number accounts for 2.5% of the total number of cases and is 0.4% higher than the death rate from Covid-19 in the world.
On September 2, 283,221 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine were administered in Vietnam. Thus, the total number of vaccine doses that have been injected is 20,831,478 doses, of which, 17,872,356 people have received the first dose, the number of people who have received 2 full doses is 2,959,122.
