Tri Nguyen Aquarium Nha Trang Directions & Information:

Tri Nguyen Aquarium, also known as Bong Nguyen Island, is a small island in Nha Trang Bay that belongs to Hon Mieu and is about 2 kilometers south of Cau Da. There is a huge aquarium in Tri Nguyen with a large variety of plants.

It began by a local, Le Can, who built a small marine aquarium on Hon Mieu island in 1971, complete with three agricultural plots of wild and decorative fishing, as well as fish for meat use. As a result of the freedom to receive and assign other tourism developers, the Tri Nguyen Aquarium was able to attract additional tourists.

In the beginning, the aquarium is quite simple, relying solely on what nature has to offer, and requiring no expenditure. Nha Trang government has committed a lot of money to establish a unique aquarium after realizing its tourism potential.

Ancient pirate ship inspired the design of the Tri Nguyen Aquarium. Many floors make up the ship's interior. The three major decks are home to many fish tanks that you can see. There's an aquarium on the bottom floor, a gift shop upstairs, and a 360-degree panoramic view from the third floor.

There is a restaurant at the Tri Nguyen aquarium. If you're in the desire for fresh seafood and local specialties, there's a restaurant nearby that can satisfy your expectations. If you'd like to bring your own food, there's free of charge. Although the food here isn't quite up to par with that on the mainland, the quality is acceptable and the pricing is quite expensive.

Tri Nguyen Aquarium Nha Trang entrance fee: 170.000 VND/ adult and 85.000 VND/child.
